Equal parts artist, educator and entertainer; Michael J Pearson has dedicated his life to the joys of storytelling and education (often melding the two together whenever possible). Michael has collaborated in award-winning theatrical productions and films across the globe; educates the next generation of artists as an occasional high school teacher; and has over ten years experience growing and directing youth camps from the ground up (most recently as camp director for Toronto's SickKids Hospital). Somewhere in there Michael also managed to fit in five years as an exotic animal handler; performing live educational shows under the monicker "Madagascar Mike". Today he continues to captivate the attention of audiences young and old, whether it be for the stage, camera, or classroom.

Charlie is played with heartbreaking charm and skillful certainty by Michael Pearson. Often some of the best moments in a play are achieved with supporting performances, and in Pearson’s Charlie we are richly rewarded.
